Panama, June 3, 2026. During the school recess, more than 1,200 children and youth from all over the country will be meeting from June 2 to June 6 at the City of the Arts to participate in the second edition of "Mil Corazones, Una Misión," the great national meeting of the Network of Orquestas and Youth Coros of Panama, that this year celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Network and pays tribute to the Bicentennial of the Anifictionic Congress of Panama.

Throughout this week's training and artistic exchange, participants will prepare for the great closing concert, to be held on June 6 at the La Salle School's Gymnasium, with an international delegation of 30 students from the National School of Music of El Salvador.

Following the success of its first edition, this meeting became established as one of the most important music projects in the country, providing children and youth with an opportunity to strengthen their musical knowledge, share their experiences and develop artistic skills through collective work.

The City of the Arts will be the stage where students from different provinces will participate in essays, specialized workshops, orchestral and coral practices as well as co-existence activities aimed at promoting values such as discipline, commitment and teamwork.

As part of the cultural exchange that distinguishes this initiative, the meeting will have the special participation of a Salvadoran delegation composed of members of the Gestual Chorus and the orchestra of the National School of Music of El Salvador.

Andres Ascanio, sectorial director of Académico-Musical Training of El Sistema de Venezuela, will also be present and will share his experience and knowledge with students and teachers during his academic sessions.

The event will culminate with a high-format presentation that will bring together more than 1,200 children and youth in an impressive choral and orchestral mass, showing the result of work undertaken during the week and offering the public a high level of artistic experience.

"A thousand Hearts, A Mission" represents a valuable platform to strengthen the integrated training of new generations through music and to promote cultural exchange, regional integration and artistic development among sister countries.
