Panama, October 27, 2025. - The Ministry of Culture today dawned with three ministers, Margaret Grant, an outstanding student at the Center for Comprehensive Bilingual Training and People's Republic of China, Yanitza Rivera, from the Diversified Arts Baccalaureate and the leading minister of the branch, María Eugenia Herrera.

The Minister Herrera welcomed the youth at the City of the Arts, where she headed a tour of the buildings, theatres and training spaces, with Carlos Molina as his deputy minister of culture and with his deputy minister Arianne Benedetti and Angelyn Rodriguez as Secretary General with Ivis Moreno, who holds his office at MiCultura.

Margaret Grant, as well as an outstanding student, forms part of the program's youth leaders, "From The Wings for the World, Fingering Fingers," Yanitza Rivera is a high-grade student in plastic arts and Carlos Molina is an outstanding student of music and Angelyn Rodriguez studies plastic arts. The four are part of a generation of talented youth with great dreams and to achieve them they strive to study.

Following the tour, the youth shared with the authorities their tasks on their agenda, including attending the academic and cultural event "Women: Voices and Legates in Iberoamerica: A 200-year dialogue with the Anifictionic Congress of Panama," organized by the Colombian Embassy in Panama with the support of OEI and Parlatino.

Other youth, such as Nicole Almanza, Nathalie Arroyo, Yohani Suarez, Carolaen Aparicio and Alan Rodriguez, all with outstanding means in Diversified Arts held office at the Ministry of Culture.

In Panama, the "Student's Day" is celebrated every October 27, date that was officially established through Act No. 1 of October 22, 1948, which stated that day as "Civil Student's Day."

That's a good time to highlight the value of study, academic training and the role of the student in national development as agents of social transformation.
