The Ministry of Culture, through the National Directorate of Cultural Rights and Citizenship, headed by the licensed Katherine Bucktron, conducted a work tour in the province of Coclé. Accompanied by his team and by the coordinator of the Public Libraries Network, Olga de Cuevas, the tour aimed at evaluating the infrastructure, the literary collection and meeting the administrative personnel of several public libraries in the region.

During the tour, they visited important cultural centers such as the Abelardo Herrera Library in Aguadulce District, the José María Pinilla Urrutia Library in Natá District, the Anel Omar Cultural Centre and the Fernando Guardia Library in Penonomé District, as well as the libraries of La Pintada, Antón, Rio Hato and the Anton Cultural Center.

The Licensed Katherine Bucktron emphasized that these visits will allow the implementation of an action plan aimed at the update, modernisation and maintenance of these educational and cultural centers at Coclé with the aim of strengthening their role as promoters of culture and education in the community.
