The City of the Arts of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) became an ideal stage for hundreds of families to enjoy a day full of artistic, cultural and recreational activities. The children, with cheerful faces, celebrated the closure of the Day of the Child at an event that combined fun and learning.

The event began earlier with the film "Captain Avispa," an animated feature film of action produced by Juan Luis Guerra, that captivated both big and small.
The day also included a visit to the Rogelio Sinan Library, where storyteller sessions were held by Mani Mannigdez, a character representing a small ocelote of the Panamanian jungle. With his cheerful tours, Mani invited everyone to participate and be part of the celebration.

During the event, workshops of artistic movement and creativity were offered, Tancúa, traditional games, dances, paintings and cultural performances. The smaller ones also participated in artisan experiences, such as performing temporary tattoos with jagua ink and winis bracelets, prepared by the guest crafts.

Gianni Bianchini, national director of the arts of MiCultura, highlighted the success of public and private sector collaboration to conduct activities that will benefit the whole population. "Today we have enjoyed a vibrant City of the arts, thanks to the joint efforts of governmental and private institutions. In collaboration with the National Section of the arts, the National Section of Cinema and the Section of Cultural Rights and Citizenship, we work together to make this day an unforgettable experience."

The event involved allied institutions and companies such as the State System of Radio and Television (SERTV), the Panamanian Institute of Special Habilitation (IPHE), Savings Bank, the Urban and Domiciliary Assembly Authority, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), Panama Canal and the National Association of Scouts of Panama.
