The play "Sonata for broken angels" winners of the theater genre at the Ricardo Miró contest of 2021, whose author is Consuelo Tomas Fitzgerald was first put to stage this Tuesday at the Anita Villalaz Theater with the performance of five talented young people.

The work earned the main prize at the Ricardo Miró contest that organizes the Ministry of Culture every year and one of the provisions of the contest is that it should be put to the stage within a period of no more than two years.

The author of "Sonata for broken angels," Consuelo Tomas explained that it's a work that talks about challenges faced by young people to make their way into a hostile world and seek together answers to their questions.

For his part, Mariela Aragón Chiari, with whom it was incumbent to lead artists at this premiere, emphasized that "we have to have confidence in what young people have to propose," because they have a desire to do things properly and they need a space to do so.
