The Deputy Minister of Culture, Gabriel González emphasized the cultural exchange between the people of China and Panama that was based on "respect and peaceful and harmonious coexistence."

The words of Vice Minister González were published at the opening event of the Chinese painting and calligraphy exhibition organized by the "China Cultural Center Panama" as part of the celebration of New Year 2023, year of the Rabbit.

In the presence of representatives of the Cultural Chinese and the Ministry of the Presidency, the Chancellery and MiCultura, the deputy minister stated that "culture has been a link of unity of great value and activities such as this exhibition that contribute to its enrichment."

The event was complemented with a number of dances, songs and recitals starring students from the Confucius Institute of Panama.

The China Cultural Center of Panama with 22 years of production of Chinese culture is run by Kelly Zhang.
