Young urban art talents are supported in their aspirations in the difficult world of music through the project "Padrinos del Barrio" that means that artists already trained give advice to new exponents of this rhythm.

Two objectives have been achieved through this project: on the one hand, new values have been given an opportunity to be heard and known by those who consume the artistic expressions of urban gender and at the same time we have been recognised as a social work of great exponents who share experiences as a contribution to the new generations that seek to make their way into this entertainment profession.

It's a project that goes beyond the musical theme, because it offers new prospects, once established in the field, the tools to manage their careers from a financial perspective and to avoid distractions that purge their professional lives.

The Padrinos del Barrio project is also inclusive and breaks with the practice of saving these spaces for urban music composers.

Padrinos del Barrio () is a project with five chapters, of which two are dedicated to urban genres designed for people with visual disabilities.

Through this series of 5 special artists with experience lead their novice colleagues by teaching them how to correct the mistakes made and face challenges on the way to success.

The artists who have been given a name in the field of urban music believe that with this support from the Ministry of Culture, new talents will have an ideal impetus to achieve their goals and work from their communities to achieve the goals of sustainable development.

Padrinos del Barrio will be broadcast on Saturdays at 9: 00 p.m. by SERTV and the YouTube and Facebook channels of the Ministry of Culture of Panama.
