MiCultura delivers Middle Chicken and Changmarin editions

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) through its Letras Department of the National Section of The Arts gave its 2019 editions to the winners of the literary contest, Medio Poltito and Carlos Francisco Changmarín.

Daniela Varga from the Sun Yat Sen School of Panama, Sofia Machado Pimentel from the Javier de Panama College and Daniela Araúz Castillo from the Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles College of Chiriquí, were the winners of the first, second and third place respectively from the 2015 Mid-Poltio Fairy Children's contest, who received at a significant event the first editions of their works.

That issue will include the winners of the first three locations "The Garden of Amelia," "The Mysteries of the Planet" and "Worry about your destiny," all of them focused on the issue of the environment, but they will also include the "Dreams" tales of Lia Victoria Ferreira Robles, who studied at the Javier Association of Panama and "In danger of extinction" by Hannah González Mora, who received honorary mentions.

"We are very happy to give these works. You are representatives of all the artistic talent we have in Panama and so you will know them at the rectimators where we are opening up the reading spaces," stated Cultural Minister Carlos Aguilar Navarro while delivering the editions.

The incumbent of Culture called on girls to continue to tell stories for "we readers, so that we will be happy to read them, and that we can contribute to promoting Panamanian literature."

At this event, Julio César Aparicio, winner of the Unique Award of the National contest for children's and youth literature "Carlos Francisco Changmarín" 2019, with his storybook "The Stories That Tell Us The Sky," also received his first edition of his storybook.

In this respect, the winner of the "Changmarín" emphasized that his collection deals with three stories framed in the different cultural groups that inhabit the isthmus and their contribution to the development of the nation. "I hope readers will like them, mainly by how they reflect the values that are represented in the work and so I hope they will like them," she emphasized.

These copies can be bought at La Casa del Escursor Panamanian, located at the San Felipe correction, at the Santo Domingo Convent (Chat Arco).

The Mid-Fill Children's Expression Literature Competition was created with the aim of early stimulation, literary creation in boys and girls and with teachers leading to the development of imagination and the proper use of language in them.

Meanwhile, the Carlos Francisco Changmarín National Prize for Children and Youth Literature aims to stimulate the production of excellence among national authors who write for children and youth while at the same time honoring and recognizing Don Carlos Francisco Changmarín's literary trajectory.
