Panama City, April 12, 2026. - The historic Old Panama Rines were filled with rhythm, color and cultural diversity with the second edition of the Moon Fest World Culture 2026, an event that turned this iconic place into a true meeting point among cultures from America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
With a multicultural atmosphere and an agenda full of experiences, the festival brought together traditional dances, international fashion parades, folk shows and contemporary expressions that connected the public with traditions from countries such as India, Morocco, Turkey, Indonesia, China and Mexico, the latter as a guest country.
The national talent also expressed its presence with groups such as the Panama Canal Folk Ballet and the Sister Angelita Folk Set, leading to the best of Panamanian roots. To this they added presentations of flamenco and Oriental dances that have been keeping the public captive throughout the day.
Beyond art, Moon Fest put his best place to an integral experience: a gastronomic area with flavors of the world - from shawarma to traditional desserts -, spaces for entrepreneurs and artisans, children's area and even a sports area with the Panamanian Football League, in advance of the 2026 global atmosphere.
The celebration doesn't end here: Moon Fest will continue next April 19 at the Colón Center of Art and Culture, leading this multicultural experience to the Atlantic coast of the country.
The event takes place with the support of key partners such as the Ministry of Culture of Panama, with embassies from different countries, the Islamic Foundation of Panama, as well as clubs and cultural organizations, and this enriches the experience and highlights the multicultural character of Moon Fest.
