Panama April 13, 2026. The National Ballet of Panama will be leading his first performance in Mexico on April 15 and 16 at Playa del Carmen, under the artistic direction of master Sasa Adamovic. The company will have an escenic proposal that fuses international tradition, training and projection.

With 25 dancers on stage, the cast will put forward a repertoire that combines the force of the classical ballet with a contemporary look, highlighting the Suite of Don Quixote with Neoclassical pieces that attests to the artistic evolution of its interpreters. That participation opens a new display for Panamanian talent to international public and strengthens cultural exchange in the region.

One of the most significant moments of the gala will be the tribute to Panama, a piece that will bring together students from seven ballet academies from Mexico under the direction of choreographer Eduardo Blanco, creating a unique moment that celebrates dance, artistic training and intercultural encounter.

For dancers, this experience represents a key opportunity for exposure and professional growth, enabling them to show the high technical and artistic level of Panama's National Ballet, as well as representing Panamanian culture beyond its boundaries and sharing with artists from other countries, broadening horizons and apprenticeships, emphasized Gloria Barrios, director of the National Dance Company.

Following his passage through Mexico, his company will continue his program with his next jobs as El Corsario at the Anayansi Theater and a presentation on May 14 at Boquete.
