Panama, March 17, 2026. - A Panamanian or Panamanian will be awarded a 3-month fellowship at the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT). The Ministry of Culture will join with the Panama Embassy in India and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry of India to give this fellowship.

The opportunity to study is directed at Panamanian talents in the film and television areas and cover: program registration, accommodation at a student's residence, food during his stay and the MiCultura Cinema Management will cover his and her select participant's move to India.

The requirements include: being a Panamanian citizen, more than 20 years old, mastery of his or her English language, cinema, television or audiovisual media experience. The documents have to send a letter of motivation (best one page) explaining why his or her wants to participate and how his or her training will contribute to his or her professional development.

He or she shall have attached to his or her document a fact sheet or an occupational profile, a portfolio with an experience with films, photographs and the like. A letter of commitment to participate during his or her 3 months.
