MiCultura to start online summer training in February

From 1 to 27 February, about 4 000 children and youth from 7 to 17 years old will enjoy free of charge the courses that will be offered by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) in the specialities of music, dance, drawing, painting, theater, crafts and folklore.

The artistic disciplines will come to those registered with 83 professionals, pre-graduate students at the University of Panama's School of Fine Arts and teachers at MiCultura schools and centers.

To Ellis Newman's National Director of Artistic Education "The goal of the project is through art, to rescue values in our student society, by providing them with the tools that artistic disciplines offer so as to promote their human and intellectual development.

The project aims at encouraging, encouraging and promoting artistic expressions throughout the national territory and through these artistic and cultural teaching in all his or her expressions the child perceives, thinks, feels and above all acts to combat prejudice and inhibitions that in many cases are those that cut the light-expressed-body space, stated Professor Newman.

The online sessions of "MiCultura in summer 2021" will be held three times a week, for an hour and thanks to the technology we will have a range in every province of the country.

Newman stated that as a result of his high level of acceptance, more opportunities are currently being assessed to have people have access to training in the arts and called on the public to be outstanding at the MiCultura networks to get an information about regular training plates 2021 out of our 22 Fine Arts centers, which will also be free of charge.
