Iberesco grants 2020-2021 aids

Four companies dedicated to performing arts in Panama have been benefitted with the recent aids 2020-2021 for Ibero-American performing arts and have been published at the virtual meeting XXIX, held by members of the Intergovernmental Council of this Programme, with Panama as a party through the Ministry of Culture.

The program's assistance includes the co-production of performing arts events at ART DANCE STUDIO, S.A. with the project "La Casa," Fundación Gramo DANSE with Oneiros (formerly "Dreams") and Nyra Soberón Torchia with The History of Panama.

For his part Fundación Prisma Danza with the PRISM Danza Festival was awarded his assistance to the Programming of Festivals and Scenic Spaces.

According to press release from its organiser's website "Following the establishment of the 2021 Fund with a total amount of EUR 957,774.56, the Intergovernmental Council awarded a total of 112 assistance to conduct projects in the 16 Member countries throughout next year.

The meeting also elected new president Carlos La Rosa, currently director of the arts department at the Ministry of Culture of Peru, as new president of the IberesCEN program.

The term of office of the Presidency shall be an annual term and shall be extended for another calendar year as established by the Iberescenna Programme Regulation.

Iberesco includes 16 countries with an annual contribution of resources that are an economic contestable fund, open to performing arts professionals living in programme countries.
