The incumbent of Culture, accompanied by Miss 10 November, guest queens and national and local authorities, walked the main streets in a cheerful tuna that filled with joy and pride the community and the thousands of visitors attending to celebrate this historic gesture.

The day continued at the Museum of Nationality, where the traditional event of the Vispere of the First Grito of Independence was held. Omaira del Carmen Escalona Garrido was dedicated to dictate Proclama and was also recognized for his contribution to local culture.

The protocolary event continued with the participation of the Ladies Longevas, who have been singing the hymnus Santeño, followed by the repeat of bells from the Church of San Atanasio, a fireworks show that lit up the night and closed with the traditional Dianas.
