Panama 3 October 2025. The National Symphony Orchestra of Panama, under the direction of master Ricardo Risco, presented with great success the concert "La Malia del Cinema" at the Balboa Theater, that registered great attendance.

The program brought together some of the best known sound bands of the seventh art, on a tour ranging from science fiction classics to Disney magic and a tribute to John Williams.

The first part, entitled "The Music of the Galaxy," includes Thus spoke Zaratsura of Richard Strauss, famous for his presence in 2001: Space Odyssey as well as John Williams's flagship themes for the Star Wars saga - including the Imperial March and King's Theme - as well as the memory of E.T. and the music of The Avengers of Alan Silvestri.

In the second section, "Disney's Magic," the public enjoyed pieces of animation that have been beyond generations: an ideal world (Aladino), The Lion King, Be our guest (The Bella and the Beast), as well as the contemporary success Frozen and Piatas of the Caribbean.

The closure was dedicated to a Tribute to John Williams, with the performance of fragments from Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Schindler's list - with the participation of violinist Arthur King as a soloist - and Superman.

With this concert, the National Symphony Orchestra succeeded in bringing symphony music closer to a diverse public, highlighting the value of the great film scores and the charm they awaken with those who enjoy these magical musical encounters.
