Panama August 18, 2025 - Children, youth and older adults enjoyed an emotional and didactic role of Panama's National Ballet with the staging of "Panclels of Remembrance," that was held on August 18, at the National Theater as part of the celebrations of the 54th anniversary of the company.

The event, designed to democratize access to art, allowed assistants of different ages to closely experience the beauty of dance, demonstrating the commitment of the Ministry of Culture to open up artistic spaces to the whole of society.

The special function called for groups of institutions such as the Centro Integral del Adulto Mayor, Foundations and Residencia Santa Marta, Hogar we help you Children of Albergues, and the Academy "Fesquer el Bueno Camino," who were invited to have a unique cultural experience. Thus, the Ministry of Social Development (Mides), together with the Ministry of Culture, made it possible for the attendees to enjoy this great presentation.

During the performance, the dancers at the National Ballet interacted directly with the assistants, inviting children to the stage to teach them some steps, creating an unforgettable moment of connection and joy.

"Pancleladas del Remembra" is a tour of the classical, neoclassical and contemporary repertoire, highlighting works such as "Variaciones Inquietas," an assembly by Fernando Hurtado that aims to show the versatility and avant-garde impulse of the Ballet.

That activity honors the 54-year course of the National Ballet of Panama and strengthens the actions of the Ministry of Culture to give access to art, respecting it as a fundamental right for all.
