Panama July 11, 2025. From July 5 to 14, Costa Rica will host the prestigious "Pure Piano Life Experience," an international festival that brings together young piologists from around the world with a unique experience of learning, exchange and musical competition.

In this twelfth edition, Panama will be represented with pride by Aymara Montero, a talented and 12-year-old pianist who studied at Benigno Tomas Argote College, the first year.

From a very small age, Aymara has shown a special sensitivities for music. He began playing piano at age 6 and has since grown his talent with dedication and discipline, practising three hours a day at a modest piano that, while his most suitable, has been his tool to dream about, as his piano teacher, Carmen Alvarado expressed.

Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and the First Lady's Office, Aymara will be able to participate for the first time in an international contest with youth from different countries, in a space that offers master classes, concerts and personalized training with internationally renowned artists and teachers.

Lanzo Luconi, Costa Rican pianist and educator, founder of the festival, expressed that "the goal has always been to open doors to young piologists throughout the world, providing them with a platform of growth and real opportunities for their artistic development."

During the event, Aymara will play a picky repertoire that includes the adaptation of La Campanella de Franz Liszt, Caña Dulce of Costa Rican composer Daniel Zuñiga and Rondo de Diabeli, showing his versatility and love for classical and popular music.

Carmen Alvarado, a teacher and coral director who has accompanied some of his training, points out that "Aymara doesn't only have talent, she has a profound love for the music that she feels in every note she plays."

The teacher Alvarado holds a degree in music in Chile and holds a master's degree in Coral direction in the United States.

The participation of Aymara represents a personal accomplishment but also a symbol of hope and equity. A girl who with care and passion shows that dreams can be achieved with support and opportunities.

The festival will culminate with a great closing concert on Saturday, July 12 at the majestic National Theater of Costa Rica, where Aymara will share stage with youth from different countries, celebrating the transformative power of music.
