The event "Casco Peatonal" organized and promoted by the Mayor's Office of Panama in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture, continues to be consolidated as a cultural, tourist and inclusive initiative with high impact in Panama City.
Since its first issue in March, this event has been held with the streets of Casco Antiguo, last Sunday of every month, offering residents and visitors a unique experience, charged with art, music, gastronomy and recreational activities for all ages.
At its third Sunday edition, the Ministry of Culture highlighted the participation of entrepreneurs with disabilities, who offered artisan products such as jewelry, cosmetics and consumer products.
That inclusion project was developed with the joint work of the Offices of Equal Opportunities and of the Casco Antiguo, that have been entrusted with the call of the artisan as well as of the 26 artists that have been shown at the stage of the cultural artistic day.
The entrepreneurs have been selected through the MiCultura database, processed by the Equiparation Office. Those with disabilities interested in enlisting their artistic talent can have access to the form available through the link: https: / / forms.office.com / pages / ResponsePage.aspx? id = mIw7Juqv0CDvsIJJJnojRq48L4mvJHuxw0DvyQDZ9umURRMJdVldMFdMFFZ3U3IJJMJMJIJIJIJIJnJIJnJIJnJnqMJIJIJn.IJIJIJn.IJn.IJn.IJn.IJn.IJn.I.I.I.I.n.n.n.n..n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.@@
That tool allows for viewing the artistic and cultural skills and talents of people with disabilities and also creates a positive economic impact for entrepreneurs by monetizing their creations and strengthening their development.
The next day of Casco Peatonal will be held on Sunday June 29th with a varied cultural agenda for the enjoyment of the whole community.
The Mayor of Panama and the Ministry of Culture through the office of the Casco Antiguo invite citizens to join this space where art, diversity and inclusion are found to celebrate the best of our identity.
