The Herbert Auditorium of Castro, in the City of Las Artes, was the opening stage of the international festival DANZPARE Panama 2025, an event that celebrates the wealth of folklore as a couple and that in its first edition in the country brought together delegations from Argentina, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Panama.

During the inaugural gala, the participating groups offered to the Panamanian public an exciting show of folk dance as a couple, filled with color, music and emotion, representing the best of their respective countries's cultural heritage.

At La Ciudad de Las Artes as the main headquarters of the festival, international groups have held dance workshops at the essay halls, leading to a valuable exchange of techniques and styles with local artists. Also, the festival was held at the Center for Art and Culture at Colón, leading the "Festivals of the World's Countries" to this Caribbean province.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture of Panama, DANZPARE 2025, has a commitment to the promotion, protection and dissemination of cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, through traditional performing arts.
