Under International Women's Day, the Ministry of Culture, together with the First Lady's Office and in collaboration with Meta, held the workshop "Define and Build a Community," aimed at more than 70 artists at the Carmen Cedeño auditorium of the City of The Arts.

The training was conducted by Samuel González Guzmán, a Meta facilitator and specialist in business models and entrepreneurial culture, who shared key strategies so that participants can strengthen their presence on social networks, create attractive content and use WhatsApp Business to connect with their clients and consolidate their digital communities.

During the day, the First Lady of the Republic of Panama, Maricel Cohen de Mulino, with the Minister of Culture, María Eugenia Herrera, gave words of welcome and congratulated the participants for their dedicated and talented work.

"The idea of this program is that his art be recognised by more people so that they can be effectively exposed and get his work to reach a wider public," emphasized Minister Herrera.

For her part, the National Director of Crafts mentioned that "this has been a valuable opportunity for our crafts to strengthen their businesses through social networks."

"With these tools they will be able to improve their visibility and connection with customers but also place their work on the digital market," she added.

That training was broadcast by streaming to secure the participation of artisan from across the country and was organized by the addresses of Crafts and The Arts.

The Ministry of Culture will continue to train artisans at the national level to strengthen their skills and to empower them from their jobs and to display and promote their creations.
