Active Government of MiCultura's "Roadside Singers" at Casa 2.0

Panama, 4 November 2020 -The National Government, through the Ministry of Culture and SERTV, as part of Plan Panama Solidario, activated a number of folkloric presentations called "Cantadera por Recartera," which consist of a truck ride with the trovators across different villages inside the country.

Karen Peralta, National Director of Folklore, explained that with a great care they have initiated a series of presentations in the format of Cantadera por Retitera, that have been planning to complement the nights of trovators that have had a very good acceptance from the public since the start of MiCultura at Casa 2.0.

"The first tour of the teachers of the 10th was held at La Villa de Los Santos and its surrounding communities with great joy, with the mule coming in, the trovators singing and the good reception of people in the villages we are travelling through," emphasized Peralta.

He also explained that this Friday 6 November from 5 p.m., through networks of the Ministry of Culture, the public at large will have an opportunity to experience with the singers of the Country and to conduct the bicentennial of Spanish Panama's Independence, from 10 November, will continue his musical trips through the Villa de los Santos.

To bring entertainment, fun and cultural expressions to families for all Panamanian people, the Government launched "MiCultura at Casa" as an initiative that supports patio artists, valued and applauded by their noble work as they give their talent at these high challenges.

"Cultural activity has remained unchanged and with our cultural and inter-institutional partners we have been trying to share with the audience the contribution of artists, folloclologists and the Panamanian cultural sector, who have been united and have shown empathy, as we have been constantly leading to the comfort of all households," stated Carlos Aguilar Navarro, Minister of Culture.
