More than 20 artisan from San Miguelito participated in the second edition of Luna Plena de Tambores, a cultural event that was held at Green City, Brisas de Panama Norte, under the motto "That's Panama."

Supported by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the National Handicrafts Directorate, the exhibitors presented unique pieces made by hand, in a space that combined art, music and entertainment for the enjoyment of thousands of visitors.

Cristina de la Guardia, National Director of Crafts, emphasized the importance of this type of event to give more visibility to artisan and to promote trade in their products. "The Ministry of Culture continues to develop strategic alliances to strengthen the artisan sector and bring Panamanian art closer to the public," she stated.

On March 15th, Luna Plena de Tambores will bring his cultural proposal to the Center of Art and Culture at Colón, offering another night of music and artisan display.
