MiCultura and First Lady's Office start "Intimo" cultural season from Omar Park

Panama, 7 October 2020. The National Government, through the First Lady's Office, the Ministry of Culture and the State Radio and Television System (SERTV) produce a number of cultural events called "Intimo," that unites talented artists from Panama's National Ballet, the National Symphony Orchestra and important lyrical voices.

The first "Intimo" gala, to be broadcast from Omar Park and will be released Thursday, October 8, at 8 p.m. by SERTV, will have as its protagonist best dancers at Panama's National Ballet, among them, the first dancer Manuelita Navarro.

Yazmin Colón of Cortizo, First Lady of the Republic, explained that this presentation of the National Ballet pays tribute to the women who fight cancer at a wonderful show. To that end, "our dancers have prepared a precious repertoire that serves as a reflection for the times we currently live," she added.

For Culture Minister Carlos Aguilar Navarro, this is an entertainment and culture bet that will allow the public to delight with unpublished choreographies prepared for this great evening and at the same time reflect on love, solidarity and hope at these times of great challenges.

"Intimo" will have a monthly periodicity and have been designed with the aim of offering the audience a high quality cultural show, promoting our artists' talent and encouraging the arts market.

Gisselle González Villarrué, General Director of SERTV explain that this event also constitutes an invitation to stay at home and share with families through cultural presentations that transform lives through art and culture.
