The Reels Parade at the Festival del Toro Guapo of Antón, in its number 53 version, was with the presence of the Minister of Culture, María Eugenia Herrera, who accompanied the Minister for Canal Affairs and Secretary of Metas, José Ramón de Icaza, with local authorities and Queen Naika Mayela Ortega, by the main streets of the district of Antón.
Sixty delegations from every province of the country with different typical outlays and more than 20 carts were part of this parade.
The January 15th Park of the district of Anton was embellished with folklore with participation in the four challenges of more than 100 delegations from all regions as well as an international guest from Costa Rica.
About fifty-two artisan from the canton District benefited from this activity, with the sale of consumer crafts, jewelry, hats of all sorts, cuttings and many other products.
Among the main attractions that recreated part of this festival, were the motif in totuma, the bullfight, the guacho and the white mantle in totuma, the cordado cow, different competitions in tima, among other artistic and cultural manifestations.
They accompanied the Arianne Benedetti festival, deputy ministers of culture, who shared with anarchists, visitors and foreigners a day full of tradition, folklore, music and dance.
For his part, the director of the arts, Gianni Bianchini, together with local authorities, participated in the Eucharist of the opening of the festival at the chapel St. John the Baptist of Anton.
Bianchini was the carrier of the words by the National Government on the day of the coronation gala, in which she emphasized, "we are celebrating the customs and traditions of the Festival of the Guapo Toro of Antón, today we reaffirm our commitment to be a part of this festival and join with the festivities of this people."
