CELEBRING MUSIC DIVERSITY, INDIVIDUAL DIVIDUAL FESTIVAL FESTIVAL DIVERSITY FROM MALO SAINT

With this edition, the festival celebrates the age of majority and pays tribute to the artist Alfredo De Saint Malo, outstanding for leaving the country high with his performances at the most prestigious concert rooms in the world, being the only Panamanian violinist to own and play a violin from Stradibarius.

At his opening, the Minister of Culture, Maruja Herrera, emphasized the need to play a significant role in promoting these activities, she remarked "it's vital to be that strategic ally, not only the rector but also the facilitator of those projects that cultivate classical art and music, in all its manifestations."

For his part, Isaac Casal, artistic director of the Alfredo De Saint Malo Music Festival, expressed his gratitude for the support of the Ministry of Culture in the production and development of this activity.

The festival, to be held from 17 to 28 July, will offer a production of hundreds of national and international artists with a view to promoting music culture and an academic program for Panamanian youth and artists, including workshops, seminars, master's classes and other training activities.

Also, for this issue, the musical festival organized by FUNSICOPA (Panama) that aims to highlight and commemorate the cultural legacy of artists, composers and teachers of national classical music will have Ricardo Risco, Assistant Director of the National Symphony Orchestra (OSN) as a composer at his place of residence.
