To explore the essence of creating and designing a craft from scratch, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) for the second consecutive year, within the framework of the National Crafts Fair, puts at the disposal of visitors an interactive space to get to know the craft work closely.

At this "Experiences Pavilion," the public will have an opportunity to create their own crafts with the accompaniment of twelve artisan each at their different locations and share their knowledge and skills with them.

The guests will be able to appreciate how a mola, devils masks congo and devils associated with the Festivity of Corpus Christi are made, to be part of the production of a salt carpet, to observe the production of a seatplate to suit, to participate in the fabric of the different "pines" for the painted hat, to place body painting, among other interactions.

At this site, you will also learn about the production of the pollera congo and its meaning, modern cuts with traditional stitches as well as participation of the clinics about playing the drum, wood carving workshops and necklaces by artisan Naso Tjerdi, modern cuts with traditional stitches by Nagua designer, production of baskets by Bribi artisan and a painting with pencil and charcoal.

The pavilion has activities for the little ones as with a set of ladies, tables to paint and coloring with images of traditional dresses and costumes, by guides that promote activity, so it's an opportunity to enjoy with families.

The artisan Ernesto Polanco, Jorge Montenegro, Mayra Rodriguez, Mary Acosta, Karina Nicholson, Ramiro Mojica, Jocskzar De Gracia, Yatzuris Mendoza, the group of Danzas Mami Chacón, Eliciano Membache, Rolando Marín, Yaliveth Roldan, Alba Araúz are charged with providing the artisan experience to the visitors.
