The Ibermusicas program of which Panama is represented by the Ministry of Culture of Panama (MiCultura) puts at its disposal all agents of the music sector to submit projects from June 15 to October 1, 2024, according to the aid lines that have been envisaged for its cycle of calls.

It includes seven clear aids focused on the movement of music professionals, musical programs, help artists and researchers for residences to residential institutions, specialist and artistic and technical development, virtual projects and the promotion of the Ibero-American Repertoire.

Also, an opening has been made for four awards among them, Ibermusicas Award for Ingeniuses, Ibermusicas Award for the composition of a work of coral, Brazil Prize - Ibermusicas, Peru Prize - Ibermusicas in tribute to the 100 years of the birth of Nicomedes Santa Cruz - Creation of a song at ten.

Special Ibero-Music Call - Mid Atlantic Arts, from Ibero-American artists in the United States and Travel for Portuguese-language music, Portuguese-speaking countries are another two of the assistance to the creative musicals that brings this invitation to Ibero-American musicians.

Panama joined the Ibero-Music Programme since 2016 where more than 40 actors from the music sector have been supported, encouraging musical creation and promoting and strengthening those musical projects with the aim of strengthening the Ibero-American musical ecosystem.
