Second Virtual Feria will bring together more than 100 visual artists

That free digital activity will be held on Saturday and Sunday August 30, at a time from 10: 00 a.m. to 7: 00 p.m. from the platform of the Ministry of Culturewww.MiCultura.gob.pa

It will be a space for artists to share, display and sell their works directly to the public.

The initiative will involve members of the Panamanian Association of Plastic Artists (APAP), students from the University of Panama, winners of the Roberto Lewis contest and artists from native communities, among others.

To Daniel Domínguez, National Director of The Arts of My Culture, we "seek with this fair, to cooperate with the distribution, distinction and promotion of each of the artists. The Ministry of Culture is pleased to cooperate in empowering the great talents that this isthma has."

"For this second fair issue we hope to exceed the four thousand visits we have had at the first fair, amounting to six months of face-to-face exhibitions at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery. We invite all arts lovers to break our attendance record this weekend," Dominguez adds.

For his part, Ligia Méndez, head of the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery of MiCultura, commented that participation in these activities creates opportunities to transform reality positively.
Méndez adds that at this fair "the protagonists have as their sign of identity their creativity as a generator of possibilities."

Just as at the first, this second fair will also have the participation of artists with different types of disability from the provinces of Colón, Veraguas, Herrera, Chiriquí and Panama West.

According to Ialis ArRocha of the Office for Equal Opportunities, "the goal is to promote the talent that people with disabilities have, to be recognized at national and international level and to assist them with their work's self-management. Art unites us, is the artistic expression of boys, there are no boundaries and there are no differences in the final product."

Juan José Rodríguez Lozada, a new graduate and graduate of Plastic Arts at the University of Panama's School of Fine Arts, will be presenting two new canvases in acrylic. That's his second participation at the fair and his paintings range from 20 to 75 dollars.

Rodriguez Lozada felt satisfied that his fair had been helping him to make his best known and was sure that with his second share his exposure to consumers would be better.

The participants will present at this fair works with different technologies such as acrylic on fabric, oil on fabric, mixed technique, pingstick with cake and mold into metal sculptures, among others.
