Content of the News
All emerging and established Panamanian writers are told that they are available on the MiCultura.gob.pa website and have been required to participate in the 2024 national literature competitions.
Each contest established at Gaceta Oficial has its regulations and should be complied with by interested parties as well as the following terms of closure:
- Pedro Correa Literature Review Award, June 14 closed
- Ricardo Miró National Literature Competition, June 28 Closed
- Carlos Francisco Changmarín National Children and Youth Literature Competition, close 4 July
- Gustavo Batista Young Poesy contest, close 10 July
- Narrative Ariel Barria Alvarado Award, closed July 12
Whereas for the students we have at our disposal the Fairy Fairy Fairy Fairy contest with an end to May 24, intended for students from public and private primary schools and the Fairy Fairy Fairy Rosa María Britton with its final day to apply will be June 11 and with youth from Media and Premedia participation.
In addition to the contest described above, national natural or juridical persons, recognised cultural agencies and academic institutions are also publicly called upon to propose candidates for the Rogelio Sinan Award, to be awarded as part of the celebration of Panama's Writer and Writer's Day on 25 April 2024.
The call to propose writers for the Sinan décor will be open till February 29th.
