More volunteers join the project we care about the land and the monuments of the Casco

About 100 people met on Saturday January 27 at the Santo Domingo Convent (Arco Chato) to participate in the first cleanup of 2024 of historic sites, squares and monuments of the historic centre of Panama City, organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) through the office of the Casco Antiguo (OCA).
The activity that is organized once a month and that convoks students, foundations, associations, private and public entities and members of civil society aims to make a commitment to care for, protect and maintain the heritage as a cultural and tourist good of the country.
On this occasion, events such as Plaza Herrera, Plaza Catedral, Plaza Bolívar, Plaza France and Playa Santo Domingo were interacted by volunteers from the Ministry of Government, Junta Communal de San Felipe, Universidad de las Américas, Servicio de Protección Institucional, and entrepreneurs and artisans of the Casco Antiguo Mercadito.
The next day will be scheduled for February 24, from 8: 00 a.m. and interested parties can sign up at: OCA @ MiCultura.gob.pa.
