< strong > History and CIHAC will have new headquarters < / strong >

The History Museum and the Center for Anthropological and Cultural Historical Research (CIHAC AIP) will soon have a new headquarters after the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) has been formally transferred from the building currently housed by the Ministry of Government, also known as the Government Palace.

To this end, ministers of Government, Roger Tejada and of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué held a meeting where details were refined to make known this fact of great interest to the culture, history and tourism sector of the country.

The meeting was also attended by Denisse Guillén, manager of the Tourism Authority (ATP) and Samir Gozaine, executive secretary of the Tourist Cabinet, who put forward a proposal to include this initiative at the next session of the Tourist Cabinet.

Also present were Yessenia Sánchez, Director of the Office of Casco Antiguo (OCA) and Itzela Quiros, Assistant Director of Cultural Heritage and representatives of the Ministry of the President.

The values that warrant the installation of the Museum of History of the Nation with more than a hundred years old are that it was a seat of the first government office, National Assembly (1908-1930).
