To mark January 4, World Braille Day and to raise awareness about the importance of this communication tool for the full realization of human rights for blind people, the Ministry of Culture, light of the blind and Bath & Body Works have been united to re-conduct Blind Exhibition, an art exhibition for people with visual disabilities, where they are prohibited from performing their works.

That activity aims to raise public awareness about the right to equal opportunities and to call for more innovative proposals that will make our country's artistic and cultural spaces inclusive.

To conduct this exhibition, seven national artists were summoned to create their works using products of the brand Bath & Body Works, and they evoke odors and textures from wood, passion, dawn, nature, sea, sand, fruit, flowers and so forth, thus get pieces of art that are appreciated using other senses such as touch, smell and heart.

The exhibition is open to everyone from 4 to 8 January 2024 at ModArt, located at Marbella 47th Street East. It can be appreciated free of charge from Monday to Friday from 9: 00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m. and Saturday from 10: 00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m.

Finally, we are pleased to share that during 2024 the exhibition will be brought to other provinces of Panama, so that more people can enjoy the felt art otherwise.
