To celebrate Christmas time, the National Symphony Orchestra (OSN) of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) has prepared a program of free concerts at different points of the capital town with the aim of sharing with Panamanian families the traditional melodies of the famous villancas.
The about 60 musicians that make up the National Symphony Orchestra will play a varied musical program with classics from the time as "Christmas Festival," "Triage at Trineo," "Night of Peace," pieces best liked by big and old.
It should be noted that the celebration of this age of love and peace by the OSN will start with the Pepina clown at the Balboa Theater on 6 December at 7: 30 p.m. and this same dynamic will be repeated on 7 December at Omar Park, as at 7: 30 p.m., which promise to be a great and fun show for the whole family.
The set schedule for the concerts is as follows:
• December 13th, Church of Lourdes Via España,
• December 14, Parque Andrés Bello Via Argentina,
• December 15th, Church of Villa Lucre,
• 18 December, National Shrine Church,
• 19 December, St. Augustine's Church Via Zanita,
• December 21, Parque Benito Juárez
All events at different scenarios are scheduled to start at 7: 30 p.m.
Thus the National Symphony Orchestra concludes a successful 2023 season with free concerts and with national and international luxury guests, at which the audience supported with massive assistance the various free presentations held at the Balboa Theater, National Theater among other scenarios.
