Women's football leading literary prize

The Association of Professional Futocologists of Panama (AFUTPA), together with the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), held the third edition of the Luis Renteria 2023 National Literature Competition, in commemoration of the football player at the title of the contest.

At the ceremony where this year's winner was announced, key organizations and entities have been held to have the contest reach its summit, such as Panseportes, with its Director Luis Denis Arce, and the Ministry of Culture, with José Ismael Herrera, Secretary General and Natalie Harris, representing the Panamanian Association of Lupus. That event was also rewarded by the general public, including part of the Renteria family and the media.

The evening's logo saw the award of the winner of the literary contest, proclaiming the well-known sports journalist Claudia Carolina Morales Melendez and his work, "Valerosas," focused on the difficult path of the women's selection of Panamanian football, and his historic classification to his first feminine world, dubbed in Australia and New Zealand 2023. The work has as its port to offer him a podian meritorium, to a Panamanian female football that, with shouting, highlights the high quality of his human resource.

Claudia Carolina received from the organizers and strategic partners an amount of $3,000.00 as an award for the work. At the same time, she will have his paper published in the near future.

The Luis Rentería National Literary Contest, with its third edition closed, aims to inculcate good practice of reading and writing in Panamanian society, redirecting reflectors to local pallet. At the same time, it has as its north to build awareness about LUPUS, a disease that deprived us in our lives of continuing to enjoy the football player, Luis Rentería.
