In co-work between MiCultura and Inadeh start training training for artisan and teacher at Chitre, Herrera

With the start of workshops to improve the art of manufacturing pottery objects in the province of Herrera and that will be dictated by the Mexican master José Luis García Soriano where 13 artisan from the region will participate we start to implement the agreements established by INADEH and the Ministry of Culture through an agreement of cooperation.
They are artisan specialists in the production of mud products from the area of La Arena de Chitre that are part of the Association of Herrera's Crafts and will be accompanied by seven instructors from the Inadeh's crafts course.
The course that will be run for a week with 40 hours about "Methods of Redevelopment of Artisanal Filling," where they will discuss issues such as innovate in the design without losing their traditions, arises as a response to a concern from the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, who requested MiCultura and Inadeh to give more tools to the busy hands of these Panamanians to innovate and strengthen the production of ceramic crafts in the country.
Recently, Minister Giselle González Villarrué and INADEH's director, Mariela Salgado sealed an agreement that includes training their trainers in different areas related to their cultural events.
