A total of 1,827 people attended the four Galas offered by the National Ballet of Panama from Thursday to Sunday at its 51 year old and held at the National Theater and with a tribute to the Minister of Culture (MiCultura), Giselle González Villarrué in recognition of his work and for cultural management.

The four Galas of the National Ballet felt the public's support with a massive support of cultural performances with an attendance of 446 people on Thursday, 463 on Friday and 496 on Saturday and with 424 attendees who enjoyed these free performances to the best.

The show covered from a contemporary piece, especially created by Professor Diguar Sapi, entitled "The rose against the wall," as well as the piece "Raymonda" performed by Melissa Gaona and Edgar Santamaria, followed by the "Grand Pas Classique" presented by Mau Navarro and Yahir Castro.

The first event concluded with the exhibitions of "La Fille malga gardee" with Julieta Del Castillo and Isaac Chavez, ending with "Diana and Acteón" Satoko Konishi and Pedro Paternina.

"We are greatly excited, every time we propose to distribute tickets, because the public clings to the theater to separate their place and make sure they will be at these presentations, thus meeting the mission and goal of the MiCultura, to bring fully free access to the entire population," said Gloria Barrios, Executive Director of the Ballet.

25 professional dancers, members of the National Ballet, accompanied by ten seekers to be part of that artistic grouping, gave way to welcome the guest international artist Dani Hernández first dancer from the National Ballet of Cuba, who introduced herself with the Panamanian dancer Ana Lorena Boyd.

For the second event, the public enjoyed the presentations: "Acentos" under the performance of Edgar Santamaria, Angelo Andrade, Ángel Rodriguez, Yahir Castro and Nazario Jhonston, as well as "A rose against the wall" with the dancer Julieta Del Castillo and "El Cisne Negro" exhibited by Ana Lorena Boyd and Dani Hernandez, guest dancer, culminate with the "Danzón" with Ayira Adames and Abdiel Bonilla.

For Panama's National Ballet and the Ministry of Culture, it's an honor to have the presence of talented Dani Hernández, first dancer of Cuba's National Ballet directed by Viengsay Valdés.
