< strong > The Flamingo is brought to the plastic arts at an exhibition "Flamingo, Universal Art" < / strong >

Twenty-one visual artists are part of the new collective that exhibits the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) as part of the activities of the Panama Flamenco Week and that can be seen free of charge until September 4.

According to Fabián González, "the exhibition is framed as part of the program of the Flemish Panama Week, and what we seek through this festival of art and flamenco, is to involve the Panamanian collective, that's why the name" Flemish, Universal Art, "as it's an art without barriers and infinite creative possibilities in this case plastic, and how best to celebrate it that will be for the benefit of the Foundation of Friends with Leukemia and Cancer (FANLYC)."

The exhibition includes 21 artists who have been inspired by Flemish art to create their works by presenting to the viewer a sample of five sculptures, five works in digital art and 17 paintings.

In this respect, the organizers wish to transmit Spanish heritage in this case through Flemish and as each artist has represented his cosmovision about what he perceives from this universal art.

Armando Granja, Leys Mgallón, Gladys Sevillanos, Alejandro Balduda, Julia Achurra, Igor Kourany, Diego Varga, Margaret Amar, among others form this interesting collective that turns flamenco into spectacular pieces of art.

To Paola Tamayo and Fabian González, dailors, flamenco trainers and organizers of the Panama Flamenco Week, "the great number of people who have come to the opening have been welcomed and we are grateful to the Ministry of Culture and its staff for their support for this exhibition."

The sample can be visited until Monday 4 September at the Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery, situated within the building known as Las Bóvedas in Plaza de France at the Casco Antiguo of Panama City on Monday to Friday from 8: 00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m. and Saturday, September 2, from 9: 00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m.
