The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) added to the Youth Festival's initiative: Transforming minds, an event organized by the Ministry of Social Development (Mides) as part of International Youth Day with the aim of providing a space to discuss issues related to mental health and to continue strengthening their capabilities.
MiCultura led to this activity that took place on Saturday, August 26 at the Atlapa Convention Center, a fun stand called "Painting Your Emotions" where young people have shown their talent and have built up through his brush beautiful works of art.
"Since the festival is" transforming minds "we wanted to have that goal of transforming minds, through painting and music where participants could express their emotions and inspire their senses and achieve their expression through a canvas," said Lastenia González from the MiCultura Cultural Rights and Citizenship Board.
They also had to have fun and have fun with choreographies, dancing with a variety of well-liked musical genres among young people with cultural and technical promoters from MiCultura.
The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, who was a part of the activity, accompanied his Mides counterpart, María Inés Castillo López to issue graduation certificates to 100 young people who completed their workshops with the Program's Development Your Skills for Life in the areas of Arraijan, San Miguelito and Panama Oriental.
"We are committed to generating public policies that guarantee their spaces and their voice in decision-making," stated Castillo López.
Meanwhile, González Villarrué was very pleased to note the interest of youth in participating in activities involving art, culture, technology and education and called for them to continue to study and cultivate a good future because they are the nation's generational revamp.
The space was also an enabling place for different entities including universities and other ministries to discuss issues with them about how to manage emotions, social networking psychology, youth employability and positive finance.
