< strong > Rewards to winners of the Rosa María Britton National Youth Counting Competition < / strong >

Mariel Alejandra Fuentes, Kenneth Jafet Contreras and Simja Mariscal received scrolls that recognize him as the winners of the first version of the Rosa María Britton National Youth Counting Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura).

The contest is one of the novelties in literary competitions that MiCultura created with the aim of promoting creativity and imagination through the letters, especially in the gender tale, intended for students from 7 to 12 degrees who study at public or private schools throughout the country.

"That contest is the continuation of the Medium Chicken contest that's for children from 4th to 6th grade," said Isabel Burgos, National Director of The Arts of MiCultura.

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, expressed his complacency by stating that "this contest has two specific emotions, first with honor to those who have been created and second because it is shown that the literary future of the country remains well."

"When the jury told me that the jobs that they evaluated were surprising by the mix of issues such as identity, artificial intelligence and fiction, but conserving the essence of very well-felt feelings," added the Cultural Titular.

To the first place's winner, Mariel Fuentes from the Universidad Manuel Tejada Roca de Las Tablas, she's an emotion that doesn't have an opportunity to get ready, because she dared to participate first, in a contest with the joy of coming out triumphant with her writing "The memory of centuries."

While Kenneth Contreras and Simja Marshal, second and third, respectively, indicated that their teachers motivated them to write and participate. That experience will mark their lives and help them to follow the path of literature.

Reading promoter Briseida Bloise and writers Héctor González and Luigi Lescure were part of the jury that evaluated the 26 jobs that were registered for the contest.

That contest honors the memory of the outstanding and prolific Panamanian writer, winner of six Ricardo Miró awards in the categories of novel, tale, theater and author of more than 15 works.
