< strong > Agreement will boost Panamanian creative talent abroad < / strong >

To elevate creative and cultural industries as an export and economic promoter, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) with the Authority for Investment Attractions and Export Promotion of Panama (ProPanama) established a framework convention for inter-institutional cooperation, this Thursday, August 17 at headquarters the cultural entity.

He responded to Giselle González Villarrué, Minister of Culture and Carmen Vergara Mas, general manager of ProPanama seal the partnership where both sides will set up co-operation actions aimed at disseminating and stimulating culture in the national territory.

"An agreement such as this is what the culture of the country deserves, it's an honor to put this sign into effect, because we have been working for a while to achieve a mechanism to export and publicize culture and creative industries abroad and to promote them internationally and to attract investment," emphasized Carmen Vergara, Director of ProPanama.

Giselle González Villarrué, Minister of Culture, expressed that "creative industries are one of the tools to shape the country's economy and we do this partnership for the country."

"We have examples of success within the creative industries, the world's best paid and critical artist, Itzel Yard, and composer Erika Ender, the rabans nominated to an Emmy, among others, who fill us with pride."

That agreement will help promote Panamanian creativity and talent abroad, enabling our creators to offer their products and services at different latitudes.
