< strong > MiCultura donates food to Home of the Elderly < / strong >

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) donated a basket with dry food to the St. Peter Nolasco's Home, located at the Retirement of El Chorrillo and currently with about forty older adults.
This donation was received by the parish priest of the Church Nuestra Señora de la Merced, Fray Javier Mañas and some of the family's residents.
That activity was part of the celebration of the fourth anniversary of the passing of the law by the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, established by the Ministry of Culture.
In addition to this surrender, officials from the cultural entity have been united in organizing other initiatives for the conduct of the four years in which MiCultura has achieved achievements with a view to cultural access to the population.
The surrender was performed by a body of MiCultura's directors, composed of: Ana Itzel Montenegro, Director of the Office of Human Resources, Esther Pérez, National Director of Crafts and José Álvarez Torres, Director of the Office of Technology, jointly with staff from the Office of Social Labour.
