< strong > Minister of Culture welcomes new ambassador from Mexico to Panama, Alejandro Bichir < / strong >

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué and his deputy Minister of Culture, Gabriel González received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) the new ambassador of Mexico to Panama, Alejandro Bichir and his work team with whom there was a meeting with them to exchange views about cultural relations between them.

At the meeting, Minister González Villarrué exposed the Mexican legation about Panama's benefits as a country with a great diversity and how the cultural entity promotes these cultural experiences through its various activities and an opportunity to offer these spaces for artists to explain their talents.

The regent of Panamanian culture invited the new diplomat to get to know the National Theater and the Balboa Theater with an event schedule, some with free entrance for the Panamanian public to have access to culture in their different disciplines.

Likewise, González Villarrué highlighted some of the collaborations with Mexico with regard to the audiovisual issue, as was the recent visit of Mexican director and filmmaker Martha ORozco, who trained a total of 30 production professionals in the production of cinematographic projects.

For his part, Alejandro Bichir emphasized his complacency at being received by the cultural authorities to strengthen his work and monitoring of projects as a whole with regard to cultural matters between both nations.

Bichir is an actor, stage director and father of three famous film and television actors: Bruno, Demian and Odysseus, who have been outstanding in the Mexican artistic world for several years. He's been recognized as having appearances in soap opera as "What we call Women" and in some films, such as: "Welcome to the clan."
