< strong > MiCultura will share winners of the sixth version of the Roque Cordero < / strong >

The composer Emiliano Pardo Tristan, Erick Parris Browne, Samuel Ivan Emmanuel Robles Areas and Aesley Xavier Castillo Funes were elected by a select jury to be the winners of the sixth version of the National Music Composition Competition Roque Cordero organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura).

He responded to the Jury composed of Guido López Gavilan of Cuba, Riccardo Riccardi of Italy and María Antonia González Gómez of Mexico, who have an extensive trajectory in his composition and musical direction, evaluating the 16 pieces that they applied to his call.

Rhythmic rigidity, proper management of vocal and instrumental resources, consistent structure, efficacy to be interpreted were part of the criteria that served the juries to select the winning pieces.

According to the categories established for the contest, the results with respect to the distribution of the awards are as follows: "Sonata en Rojo" in the Solo category of Emiliano Pardo Tristan's office, "Quiamus" in the group class of camera, written by Erick Parris Browne and "Tenebrae factae sunt" for Samuel Ivan Emmanuel Robles's choir category and "Selvatic Landscapes" by Retiley Xavier Castillo Funes for the category.

The contest that organizes the national direction of the arts of MiCultura was created to promote the national musical composition and to promote the legacy of the Panamanian musician Roque Cordero.
