< strong > National Archives open their doors to host works by six artists < / strong >

6 artists from different disciplines as are Welcome Velasco, José Gregorio León, Enea Lerun, Carlos Carpintero, Cristian Pérez and Rafael Alvarez will display their works at the National Archives under Visual Arts Fest 2023.

The exhibition will be up to July 31 and the attendees will be free to appreciate four exhibitions and an artistic installation in a single enclosure, such as: "Surviving the Darién," photo exhibition of Welcome Velasco, "" The Kingdom of Water, "video art by Carlos Carpintero, The Desire of a Landscape, video art by Christian Pérez Vega.

Also "Ayalapapers," photo show by José Gregorio León, "Jenené," video art by Enea Lerun and installation exhibition, "Perception of Rafael Alvarez's Temporary Space.

Gabriel González, Vice Minister of Culture, invited the public to conduct every corner of the exhibition, "to be put through the emotion and message that works transmit, and this experience inspire us to appreciate the artistic wealth that we have in our country and to continue to support cultural development in all its forms."

He referred to "that's a space for meeting, interviewing and reflection, where works of art invite us to discuss and to question and appreciate beauty in all its forms."

For his part, Blas Petit, a Fest Visual Arts producer, noted that "the festival is a way to revive spaces, art and their artists through these nonconventional locations with what we have with the support of private institutions and companies."

The artists Sandra Alaín, Julián Velásquez and Chafil Chocarama were recognised for their inputs and trajectory.

The opening was attended by his deputy Minister of Culture, Gabriel González, Gustavo Joel Cerrud, Director of National Archives, Isabel Burgos, National Director of The Arts and guest artists.
