< strong > Call for writers and literary managers to sign up for the 2023 < / strong > National Literature Meeting

Poetic recesses, stories, workshops, discussions and round tables will be part of the agenda that will be brought by the National Meeting of Literature organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) and that will be held from 19 to 22 October 2023 in Penonomé District, province of Coclé and its call will be closed on Friday, July 14 at 4: 00 p.m.

Art and literary organisations, cultural managers and writers and teachers with Panamanian or foreign nationality with a legal residence in Panama will be able to apply to the call that's found on the website, MiCultura.gob.pa, contest and festival and to get to know the criteria to be part of the cultural offer of this festival.

According to the bases that interested parties apply to the categories of poetic recitals and stories should consider that their proposals should be directed to the general public and meet the criteria established in the bases so that their jobs can be eligible by the evaluating committee that will be made up of three well-known intellectuals.

The festival will also have a conference and workshop space open to the public and will benefit children and youth.

Aleyda De Gracia, head of the Letras department of MiCultura, emphasized that this festival, as well as promoting literary activity, aims to publicize our literature and national authors and to invite interested parties to read the bases before submitting their proposals.

The select will be announced on 25 July 2023 by the appropriate channels of the Ministry of Culture.
