< strong > Fest visual arts will have 10 individual artists and a collective performance group < / strong >

With the photo exhibition "The Wounaan in the jungle" by artist Abner Vertier will start "Fest Visual Arts," on Monday, July 17 at 6 p.m. at the Torre Guillermo de Roux Savings Bank, Casa Matrix, Via España organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the national direction of The Arts.

The third edition of Fest Visual Arts will be held up to July 31 and will also have 11 exhibitions with sculpture, painting, photo, video art, installation, performance, master and playful workshops, dictated by the artists selected at the festival.

In addition to the initial exhibition, attendees will be able to appreciate the work of 10 other individual artists and a collective performance group at different locations as they are: National Archives, Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery, Universidad de Panama and Universidad del Arte Ganexa.

Abner Vertier, Welcome Velasco, José Gregorio León, Miguel Carrera, Julie Colosso Broce, Enea Lerun, Carlos Carpintero, Jairo Pérez, Juan Carlos Mojica were, among others, the artists selected to participate in the Festival after meeting what was requested at the bases.

Fest Visual Arts, an open call to organisations, cultural and collective managers and individual visual artists interested in participating with visual art works at face exposure, aimed at the general public, family or children.

The project aims at promoting the development of emerging artists and re-activates the work of visual artists and inviting them to participate in exhibitions and presentations with their works in coordinated spaces at several points of the capital town.
