The Westland Mall Shopping Center became this weekend as a stage for tens of families to enjoy the presentation of the coffee and Party Brass groups as part of the free concert program as part of the Conference Group Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura).
He responded to the Couffeered quartet, composed of renowned and experienced musicians to open the concert in Western Panama with a presentation on Saturday June 10 at the Westland Shopping Center.
Ela Ponce, who plays the vibraphone within this grouping, stated that "this is the third time they have been involved, but this is the first time they have been shown at a commercial centre, giving them an opportunity to show their music to those living across the bridge of the Americas, especially with their original Panamanian music from the Coffeerized group."
Meanwhile, on Sunday June 11, the youth talent of Party Brass's quintet members was also a pleasure for the public who enjoyed the performances of pieces that have been part of films, as a series of cartoon and also classical as "Old Panama," among other folkloric compositions.
Héctor Cunningham trumpist from Party Brass was pleased to have been selected for a second time to be part of this festival, because these spaces offer an opportunity for musicians to share their art with society for free.
The public with love of camera music will be able to enjoy this type of pieces up to 18 of this month with the presentation of clusters such as the Zumniga Quartet, A Musical Quintet, Panama Folk Brass, Panama Brass Ensemble, Classical Culture, Dúo Ingrid and Ariel, Casa Ecos Coro, among others in scenarios such as Udelas, National Library, Electoral Tribunal and the National Theater of Panama among others.
The Conference Music Festival has been an integral part of MiCultura's events for three years with the aim of opening up spaces to promote camera music and to familiarize dedicated musicians and young talents that are currently developing in this discipline.
