< strong > Taste A Santa Ana "paid tribute to the traditions of the Black Age < / strong >

In conjunction with the Communal Board and the St. Anne's Board, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) held at the historic St. Anne's Square the event "Sabor A," as a tribute to the traditions, customs and contributions of the Black Age in our country, especially those still present at the St. Anne's Retirement.

From an early date the public was able to appreciate the exhibition "Roots in Images," beautiful images that submerge the viewer into an atmosphere of portraits and dances that pay tribute to that black heritage, captured by photographer Carlos Vicente.

Also, those who met earlier at the square tasted delicious sauces such as the onepot, fish steamed in scattering, banana in temptation, saria cheeses, icing glass among other typical foods from the Afro-descendant menu.

Beer's accessories, ornaments and more were also welcomed by those who came to the square, where they also participated in the contimatoriums "Afro-Antillana cuisine" and "Conceptos de Economía Creativa," dictated by members of the Ornament of Santa Ana and of the Direction of Creative Economics of MiCultura, respectively.

The program saw a parade of ethnic designs by Atelier Matamoros and Alex Adames designs, both filled with color, different forms, creativity and presented on a rhythmic catwalk.

The orchestras of the Aeronaval Service and of the National Police, with independent gangs Panama and Centennial, have been charged with closing with gold clasp the event.

May, is the month dedicated to Black ethnicity, that under Act 9 of 30 May 2000, invites the entities, schools, organizations and so forth to promote activities and to make commitments with a view to highlighting the inheritance and contributions of Panamanian people of African descent.
