Regional MiCultura in Coclé opens registration for virtual courses at Fine Arts

Panama 18 July 2020.Children and youth from 6 to 19 years old from different communities of the province of Coclé participate in a virtual manner during this period of quarantine of the drawing, painting, classical dance and sculpture courses offered by the Center for Higher Studies of Fine Arts and Folklore (CESBAF) of Penonomé and Aguadulce of the Ministry of Culture during the quarantine period.

The free courses offered by CESBAF, Estelina Tebeira de Penonomé are: Drawing and painting on Wednesday from 2: 00pm to 4: 00pm, dictated by Professor Joaquín Arosemena. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2: 00pm to 4: 00 pm, the course of Classical Dance, dictated by Professor Mariela Ortega, is available.

Francisco De León Regional Director of Coclé stated that the aim of these virtual classes is to give them an alternative that benefits children, youth and adults, to keep them free from stress and anxiety and with good mental health while they are quarantined.

While at the Highest Centre for Fine Arts and FolKlore of Aguadulce, Hersilia Ramos de Argote will have access to free drawing and painting courses for teens and adults on Monday and Wednesday at 1: 00pm to 3: 00pm dictated by Prof. Mariela Concha via WhatsApp video called at number 66966172.

The educational centre also has an initial ballet and modern dance, from 2: 00 p.m. to 5: 00 p.m., on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursday by Professor Sandra Otero and a workshop of sculpture in terracotta and recycled material on Tuesdays from 1: 00 p.m. to 3: 00 p.m. Professor Rodolfo Macias.
