The 21-year-old Japanese violinist, Hina Maeda who won the international violin contest Henryk Wieniawski, the most prestigious in the world and held every five years in Poland, will be performing at the National Theater with the National Symphony Orchestra (OSN) at a concert on April 20.
The event that will start at 7: 00 p.m. forms part of the OSN concert season and also as part of events to celebrate the 90-year diplomatic relations between Panama and Poland.
The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué, while highlighting the importance of the presentation of the young violinist, expressed his appreciation for the conduct by Poland's ambassador to Panama Leszek Bialy to achieve the presence of the artist in Panama.
González Villarrué emphasized that "Panama is taking firm steps to build a Ministry of Culture that with international collaboration can give first world shows" as Panama is the starting point for the presentation of the violinist that will later be presented in Colombia and Brazil.
While Polish diplomat in Panama, Leszek Bialy noted that the artist will play well-known Polish pieces highlighted his culture.
Because only two hours after tickets were exhausted to attend the concert at the National Theater, the Ministry of Culture invites the public at large to appreciate free of charge the essays that will be held at the Balboa Theater on Tuesday 18 April from 7: 30 a.m. to 10: 30 a.m..
Maeda graduated from the Tokyo Music College and among his actions are his first prize at the Violín Henryk Wieniawski International Competition (2022), his Tokyo Music Competition (2020), his second prize at the Japan Music Competition (2019) and his first prize at the Violín Kloster Schöntal Competition at his age group (2015).
He acted as a soloist with the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra and an official tour of the Laureates of the 16th Violin Henryk Wieniawski International Competition coordinated by the SONORA music agency and leading a selection of more than 60 concerts worldwide.
